Today we focused on:
had conversation and did some new vocabulary and talked about different words for “yes” and sounding native.
Vocabulary
addictive / addicted – can’t stop doing
eg. I think that game is really addictive
pay to win – a game that you can use money to win
ceiling – 天花板
megapixel
eg. my ipad pro has a 12 megapixel camera
byte = 8 bits
kilobyte = 1000 bytes
megabyte = 1000 kilobytes
gigabyte = 1000 megabytes
terabyte = 1000 gigabytes
infrared – hong wai xian
synchronize – 2 things are coordinated
eg. Jesse used to synchronize his watch with his friends’ watches
eg2. my ipad and macbook are synchronised through icloud
