Writing exercise

Tomorrow is Tomb-sweeping date and it is a traditional date in China. From my memory Tomb-sweeping date was the only period that we would go to grandparents’ tomb. We brought some fruit, or some snacks and burnt some shoe-shaped tinfoil. We fell on our knees before grandparents’ tomb when we burnt the tinfoil and we talked to them. I couldn’t say my true words out and I just made some wish that I hope my grandparents can bless all of us. But when I stood beside other families I always talked to them in mind.
My father used to tell me that you should always be nice to the elders when they are alive and after they pass away all of the performance are shows.
I haven’t been to my grandparents’ tomb in far too long, but I often miss them a lot. When our generation all pass away who will go to their tomb-sweeping? My grandparents will really disappear along with we pass away.
