eg. there are many factories in China that manufacture things

route – “raaaooot” / “root” – a road that takes you from one city to the next
eg. route 66 is one of the most famous roads in America

motel – a hotel on a highway

paved – roads that have cement / tar

exist – to be real
eg. lions exist but ghosts do not

pioneer – sb who goes to a place for the first time to discover it
eg. the pioneers traveled across the US to discover what was there
