Vocabulary

Humid – a lot of water in the air which can make the air feel more hot or cold
eg. Today’s weather is so humid outside.
eg. The humidity today is around 35% in Shanghai.

Sticky – when something stays attached because of something between them (glue)

Mountains – 很多山

Inflamed – swelling or inflammation
eg. My gums are sore and feel inflamed
eg. My gums have inflammation after the surgery.

Anti-inflammatory – helps to reduce inflammation
eg. Ibuprofen is an excellent anti-inflammatory that helps with inflammation.

Stitches – the sewing together a cut or injury
eg. My daughter has 2 stitches on her gums.

X-ray – a picture inside of something or someone
eg. The subway staff uses an X-ray machine to look inside my bag.

Exposed – to be outside and can be seen; past tense for expose
eg. I hope I don’t get sunburn because my arms are exposed in this T-shirt
eg. My daughter’s top wisdom teeth are not exposed.

Expose – to make something seen or come out
eg.  The journalist found information to expose the corrupt politician

Corrupt – does illegal stuff under the table like taking money; dishonest method of doing business for money
eg. The corrupt business man took money to sell illegal things.

Sprout – when a plant comes above the ground or a flower comes out of the plant

Consume – to use something or eat something (so nothing is left)
eg. I like to consume spicy food.
eg. People consume a lot of electricity.
eg. During this summer, people consume water/ice.
eg. My car is very big and consumes a lot of gas.

Time consuming – something that takes a lot of time
eg. My gym is very far and its time consuming to travel/go there.

Supply – to give or provide something

Demand – to want or need something

Excess – to much of something (formal)

Limited – not a lot of something

Instant – happens right away or very quickly

Grammar

in – for something that is not specific (maybe large or long period of time)
eg. months, subway, years, seasons

I took my daughter to the dentist last sunday, because her wisdom teeth of bottom were growing and I feared it to be have impact to her braces. Although she had take four teeth out while she was wearing her braces, she still had a bit worried which I went to with her. At first the dentist putted narcosis on her half face and gum, after a while she lost any feeling and the wisdom teeth was taken out. At the last the dentist was sewing the wound and gave her some oral medicine for painful and inflammation. And then she need to take a rest for several days at home and take out the sewing in a week. On the next vacation of july she is going to take out the other side bottom wisdom teeth, and Looking at her tooth picture that her two top wisdom tooth doesn’t growing. We have to visit the dentist for every vacation that how noisy it is.
