Vocabulary

Leave vs Break
Leave – very formal for workplace
Break – casual usage

Shrink – psychological doctor
Heavy – something that has very deep meaning (knowing this information brings a lot of stress)
Bare – to hold something
eg. I bare a heavy burden

Impending – something that is coming or will soon happen

Over saturated – something is full and can’t absorb more water.
eg. The American economy is over saturated with Chinese goods.  (less demand for something)

I don’t have high expectations for the Chinese economy

Lose Lose situation.

Texture  – the feeling of a material
Mushy – a soft or crushed type of texture for food and other things

Brittle – something that is soft inside and can break easily (similar to fragile, mainly used to describe bones or body)
eg. Our bones becomes very brittle with age.

Something…comes with age
eg Wisdom comes with age
eg. Brittleness comes with age

Respiratory (system) – something connected with breathing

Their customs are much different than ours.
Become accustomed to their customs.
