Vocabulary

Mid-wife – someone that helps a family take care of a new baby

Ladle – a very deep spoon for soup or cooking with a wok

Freight – large shipping done through cargo ships or occasionally by air

Continent – 7 large land masses that have countries within it

Fresh off the boat (FOB) – describes someone who just arrived in country

When in Rome = try the local culture when you visit a place

Be careful with saying a country instead of a nationality.
