Vocabulary

Wasabi – spicy green paste from Japan eaten with Sushi

Pimples – a red spot with a white middle that can appear on your skin

Oily/greasy – has the feeling of oil on the outside

Fishy – has a very strong fish smell or taste

Portion – an amount of food often meant for one person

Exotic = something that is attractive because its different (food, culture, people)

Passionate – to have a strong feeling for something and really like/enjoy it

Genre – the type of something for music, movies, tv shows, books

Motivational – something/someone that gives you motivation
Motivator – a person who gives you motivation

Historical attraction – something that was historically famous and makes a lot of people want to go visit (palace, church, temple, etc)

I went to the UK 2 years ago with my friend because he was graduated from one of the UK university. I planned to attend her graduation ceremony. But finally I didn’t went to her graduation ceremony because her university was from London. She always told me it was not a famous school. It was Cardiff university. I saw a lot of significant attractions. Initially I thought someone with poor English like me couldn’t live in London. I think the luxury thing is cheaper than in China. One day I went to the restaurant with my friend, they have a little racial discrimination.
