Vocabulary

Detection – to be found or seen by someone while trying to be hidden
eg. When robbing a bank, its good to avoid detection.

Shard – a broken piece of metal, glass, crystal (usually with sharp edges)

Chanting – to repeatedly say something in hopes it will happen
eg. At the sports arena, the fans often chant to support the team.

Discretely – without people knowing about it.
eg. I discretely snuck back inside so my parents didn’t know I left.

Antagonize – to try to make someone mad and make them do something

Accosts – aggressively questions someone about something

Strife – angry or mad about something important/fundamental

Escalates – something slowly increasing or getting worse

Deceased – someone that has died (polite formal way to say it)
eg. My great grandparents are now deceased.

Fort – an old style building used for protection in case of war

Fortify – make a place more protected/strong

Keeping tabs – spying on someone and writing down information

Slurs – a word used to insult someone about their background

Pistol – a small gun used with one hand

Causalities – someone injured or killed from an event.
eg. After a natural disaster there is often many causalities
