Review the new vocabulary and try and use some of them to make a short story.

Vocabulary

Cousin- your aunt and uncles children

e.g. My cousin is 20 years old, he studies in Tianjin.

Fix/Repair- (baoyang) to take something that is broken and make it better.

e.g. I had to bring my car to get fixed because the windshield is broken.

Windshield- dangfengboli the glass in front of the car

e.g. I cracked my windshield so now I have to get it repaired

Truck- ka che a big vehicle that moves things around

e.g. The truck was driving on the highway and had an accident, so there was a lot of traffic.

Challenge- Something someone else thinks you can’t do and you want to prove them wrong.

Driver’s License- jiazhao something that you need to have when driving, it has your picture on it.

e.g. I forgot my driver’s license and the police stopped me so I got in a lot of trouble.

License Plate-  a piece of metal with letters and numbers on it that identifies a car.

e.g. If you drive a car without a license plate, you will get caught by the police

Identify- jianding when you want to know who someone is or what something is

e.g. The police were able to identify the speeding car because they saw the license plate.

Unique- something that does not have other ones like it, it is the only one.

e.g. I like to dress in a very unique style , sometimes I wear very bright colors.

Comfortable- something that feels good

e.g. I like wearing pajamas at home because they are very comfortable.

Portable charger/Power pack/ Portable battery-chong dian bao

e.g. I always bring a portable battery when I go outside because I’m afraid my phone will run out of power.
