Use some of the new words to write a short story.

Review the last few classes and their vocabulary.

Vocabulary

Throat- The inside of our neck.

e.g. If it is too dry outside, my throat hurts when I swallow.

Swallow- when you take something in your mouth, and you eat or drink it.

e.g. If you don’t chew you food, you might choke when you swallow.

Chew- when you put something in your mouth and use your teeth to make it smaller.

e.g. I don’t like to eat beef because you have to chew it for a long time.

Choke- when something gets stuck in your throat and you can’t breathe.

e.g. If someone is choking you hit them on the back.

Neck- the part that holds up our head.

e.g. If you look down at your phone for too long, then maybe you neck will start to hurt.

Breathe- when you take air in and push air out of your mouth and nose.

e.g. If you get mad, you should always take a few deep breaths.

Verb (breathing, if you stop breathing, you will die.)

Noun (I always take a few deep breaths when I wake up in the morning.)

Verb- dong ci- doing anything doing something

Noun-  ming ci- a thing, something

Bridge- something we walk over to cross  from one side to another.

e.g.  Huang Pu Bridge is near  the Bund.

Waitan- The Bund

e.g. Shanghai’s most famous tourist attraction is the Bund because you can see all the famous buildings together.

As we all know, the environment around us is getting worse and worse. In some places we can’t see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills. Some people even have not clean water to drink. So I think we must do something to protect the environment. But what can we do? How to protect our environment? First, we can go to office on foot or by bike instead of taking a car. Second, We had better take our own bag instead of plastic bags when we go shopping. Third, We should use both sides of the paper when we write. Don’t use paper cups. Fourth, we should eat less beef, eat more vegetables and fruit salad change pork. We have more to do, if everyone pays more attention to our environment, there will be less pollution and our life will be better.

Today is my first English class with George in the 2019,because my teacher went vacation to celebrate new year coming,so I long time no see my English notes. Actually I super busy with work before the end of the year,In general, I manage the day-to-day finances and sales. I hope my holiday come soon. Chinese New Year that is to say spring festival would is only a month away,I feel existing when I waiting for holiday.
