Review some of the new words we learned. 

Vocabulary

Curate- (verb) When you evaluate and choose certain content or items over others.

e.g. Mr. Porter is a website that is famous for its curating; it only chooses the best items.

Influence- To change someone’s mind, and make them follow your ideas.

e.g. KOLs often influence many people’s decision on what to buy.

Influencer- A person who influences others.

e.g. KOLs are influencers that’s why many brands want to work with them.

Exclusive- When something is difficult to buy only available in certain places or to some people.

e.g. Prada often has many exclusive events, where they invite VIP customers to shop.

Content- nei rong, what things are inside.

e.g. Many people who work in advertisement often have to create content for their campaigns.

Podcasts-  a kind of recording that you listen to.

e.g. In China, podcasts are not very popular because people prefer to watch things, not listen to them.

Audio- anything you can hear

e.g. podcasts are a kind of audio content that people create.

Visual- anything that you can see

e.g. Youtube is a platform for sharing visual content.

Platform- pingtai a place that other things are on and you can use.

e.g. Taobao is an online shopping platform. Youku is a video sharing platform.
