Look up a few electronic devices and try and speak about them using this new vocabulary next time.

Vocabulary

RAM- Used when talking about computers, refers to the speed at which a computer can do multiple things at the same time, and how effective it is at doing them.

e.g. My old computer only had 2GB of RAM so I could barely do anything on it, other than use the internet.

Memory/Storage- When talking about electronic devices and how much stuff you can keep on them.

e.g. My phone has 64 GB of storage so I can’t keep a lot of pictures or videos on it.

Resolution (fenbianlv)- How true an image stays to its original quality

e.g. I bought a new tv and it has 4K resolution.

Pixels- (xiangsu) The tiny little squares that make up an image. In one image, there are thousands if not millions of pixels.

e.g. If you play a game with the resolution set to very low, then you will see a lot of pixels everywhere.

Virtual- Anything that has to do with games, or the internet.

e.g. I like to play virtual reality games but sometimes I get really scared because they are too realistic.

I’m a senior of major of environmental art. I want to sell my desktop because I want to come back to my hometown and this is hard to take. It’s a good computer with two video cards, a powerful CPU, 8 GB RAM and comes with a 21 inch LG screen/monitor. The mainframe case is pink which is good for girls. It already has Auto CAD, 3D MAX, Photoshop and Sketch Up installed. If you’re studying or work in design, it is very convenient for you, and the price is just 1000RMB.
