Vocabulary

Exotic- Something that is not ordinary, and is usually exciting for people

e.g. I saw some very exotic furniture at that design store, I never saw something like it before.

Obscure- Something that’s not very clear, or in plain view.

e.g. The woman lived in obscurity

Anonymity/Anonymous- Not knowing someone’s identity

e.g. The man who donated money to the school preferred to remain anonymous.

Identification- Something that shows who you are.

e.g. The police stopped me near the metro yesterday and asked to see identification.

Candid- A photo you don’t prepare for.

e.g. I think candid photos of people usually look better because they are more relaxed.

Staged- A photo you set up.

e.g. Magazines almost always stage their photos and spend a whole day taking photographs.
