Stimulate- ci ji when something creates a reaction

e.g. If you stimulate a nerve, you will feel something, there will be action.

Moxibustion-  ai jiu  a kind of chinese medicine procedure that involves burning dried herbs.

e.g. I did moxibustion one time, it smelled terrible.

Root Canal- genguan a dental procedure to extract a nerve.

e.g. I had a root canal at the dentists office.

Condensation-  when water evaporates and sticks to a surface.

e.g. If you take a hot shower, there will be a lot of condensation on the mirror.

Elixir of Life-  a kind of drink that will make you live forever.

e.g. Many emperors looked for the elixir of life so they could rule forever.

Mercury- shuiyin a kind of liquid metal

e.g. Old thermometers used to contain mercury but today we use electronic ones.

Lead- qian a kind of solid metal.

e.g. if you eat lead, you will get lead poisoning.

Melamine- sanjuqingan a kind of material they use in construction

e.g. A lot of fake wood tables are made of melamine.

Protein-  danbai

e.g. There is a  lot of protein in chicken and eggs.

Cloudy/turbid- hun zhuo  when some kind of liquid isn’t clear, it’s cloudy or turbid.

e.g. If you mix sand in water it will be kind of cloudy if you shake it.

Expire- guo qi something goes bad or cannot be used anymore.

e.g. If your milk has expired, it will smell and taste sour.

Expiry date- when something expires, when it goes bad.

e.g. I always check the expiry date on my milk before I drink it.
