Vocabulary

Resources- Something that you need to do something.

e.g. If we use up all of our natural resources, the earth will be in a very bad shape/condition.

Intensive- frequently, intensely, that requires a lot of something.

e.g I enrolled in intensive Chinese classes in Sichuan University, that’s how I learned my Chinese.

Crayfish-  xiaolongxia a kind of shellfish people eat in China and the United States.

e.g. Many people in Shanghai love crayfish because they are tasty and a bit spicy.

Invasive species-  a type of animal or plant that is put somewhere and then starts to take over, killing all other things there.

e.g If you plant fiddle heads in your garden, they will take over the entire space because they are an invasive species.

Precedent-events that are similar and have happened before.

e.g. If you are a lawyer  you should be familiar with many legal precedents.
