Vocabulary

Puppy Mills-  a kind of place that is used to mass produce puppies.

e.g.  In Western countries, if people find out you bought your dog from a puppy mill they will criticize.

Breed- when you force an animal to get pregnant and reproduce (used as a verb), also means an animal’s specific race but we don’t use race, we say breed for animals.

e.g. My dog’s breed is Maltese mixed with poodle.

e.g. My father used to breed sheep on the farm, we had about 200.

Mill- The old type of building that produces flour use for baking.

e.g. Holland is famous for it’s wind mills, Santorini.
