VIP Class Notes (George) [S]

Next Class Focus

Hi Nicholas,

please note that from now on, Luna will ONLY be doing IELTS practice unless she specifies otherwise. No free talk or other topics as she is preparing to take the IELTS exam soon.

You can start by reviewing some of the past vocabulary very quickly, and then go on to introduce some new vocabulary (7-10 new words). I included some links you can check out with her.

Then you can go on to practice the speaking part, (PART 1, and then PART 2 & 3).

IELTS Speaking Examples

For part 1, she has 1 min to prepare, 2 minutes to answer and she can’t see the question

Part 2 is the same time but she can look at the question while she answers.

and then you follow up with a part 3 question, same time, she can’t see it.

You can write down her speaking mistakes and let her se them after she is done or give her suggestions on how to make it better. Thanks!

Speaking exercise

I’m entirely not sure about every historical event of the world but I just directly mentioned one event which is the independence day for the united states which is July the 4th. It means a lot for American people which is related to freedom, independence, and I can say it changes a lot for all of the world and it means a great progress for human beings rights so this is my perspective for the most famous  historical event in the world.
