Greedy- People who want everything for themselves.

Followers- Guangzhu, people who follow your social media accounts.

e.g. people who follow your account.

Index- zhishu a kind of book or website that tells you a lot of numbers and information about something

e.g. If you want to know the price of oil you should check an index.

Materially- has to do with real things, physical things.

e.g. He is a materialistic person, he only cares about money and things/ Buddha said, forget about material things, just be one with the universe.

Looming-  Something that’s waiting to happen or something that is above everything else.

E.g. The skyscraper loomed over the city.

Signatory-  a person or country who has signed an agreement.

e.g. China was a signatory in the Iran nuclear deal.

Re-imposition- To re-impose to impose again.

e.g. He re-imposed sanctions on Iran because they made him mad.

Lawful- Something that is legal, within the law.

e.g. It is lawful to have a lawyer if you get arrested.

Umbrella Company- mugongsi A big company that owns many smaller companies.

e.g. Huawei is an umbrella company.

Subsidiary company- zi gongsi a smaller company owned by an umbrella corporation.

e.g. Skycom is a subsidiary of Huawei.

Detective-  a person who solves mysteries.

e.g. I watched a detective show yesterday.
