Vocabulary

Temporary- something that only lasts for a certain amount of time

e.g. A pop up shop is a temporary store a brand builds.

Permanent- Something that lasts forever or something that doesn’t go away.

e.g. I got a small tattoo but it’s not permanent.

Diffuse- make a smell go into the air, in many ways.

e.g. I bought a machine to diffuse my favorite smell into the air.

Body gel/wash- soap for your body.

Shampoo- soap for your hair

Face cream-  a kind of lotion you put on your face if it feels dry

Lip balm-  a kind of oil for your lips

e.g. If my lips are dry, I use lip balm

Room Spray- something you spray in the air to make it smell good

Flagship store- qijian dian a brand’s biggest store

e.g. Tiffany has 3 stores in Shanghai but the flagship store is in Jing An.

e.g. Where can I find a Uniqlo in Shanghai? In Pudong or Puxi? Oh actually Baidu says there are stores everywhere

It only lasts a short while-  Something that goes away quickly, maybe a smell or other thing.

Decoration- zhuangshiping things you put in your home to make it more beautiful

e.g. I don’t like to buy things just for decoration, I want to make sure I will use them.

Both- two of something

e.g.  do you like coffee or tea? I drink both OR both are ok.
