Vocabulary

Newsfeed-  a kind of website or page that brands use to send their customers their latest news.

e.g. Today I was busy finishing up one of our client’s newsfeed pages on T-Mall.

Outsource- When you hired people outside your company to do work

e.g. Estee Lauder outsources its content creation for its newsfeed to our company, so we are responsible for producing all the content.

Maintenance- bao yang when you have to do some work on something (like a machine) to keep it in good condition

e.g. Every year I do general maintenance on my car, such as changing the motor oil.

Warranty-  baoxiu a kind of agreement that means if there is a problem with something you buy, you can get it repaired for free.

e.g. I always buy electronics new because they all come with a 1 year warranty.

Insurance- baoxian a kind of agreement that means every month you pay a bit of money to a company to make sure that if your product has any damage they will pay for it.

Brakes- The things inside the wheels that make the car stop.

e.g. If your car has no brakes, you will die.

Welfare-Fuli when the government gives you some money when you are not working.

e.g. In Canada, you can get 600$ every month from government welfare.

Cost of living- how much it costs to live in a certain place

e.g. The cost is living in Vietnam is not very high, but the salary is also lower.
