Write a short paragraph describing what your routine/schedule is for cleaning your house, use the new vocabulary. 

Vocabulary

(Household) Chores- Things you have to do at home, housework like laundry and cleaning.

e.g. I usually spend my Sundays doing chores around the house.

Vacuum-  a machine that collects all the dirt and the hair on the floor.

e.g. I usually have to vacuum many times a day because I have a girlfriend and a cat so there’s hair everywhere.

Laundry- Another word to describe clothes that we wash.

e.g. I really have to do laundry today, I don’t have any clean underwear left.

Dust/Dusting Very small pieces that collect on the surface of things, and places where there isn’t much movement.

e.g. Why don’t you just sell your motorbike, it’s just collecting dust in the garage.

Mop/Mopping – A stick with a sponge or other material that cleans dirt.

e.g. I usually mop the floor once a week and vacuum twice a week.

Sponge-  A kind of thing that collects water very quickly.

e.g. I change the sponge in my kitchen every week because I’m afraid it’s dirty.

Dishes/Plates- Things you use to eat on. Cups, plates, bowls.

e.g. I HATE doing dishes so I usually eat from disposable plates.

Carpet- A big piece of fabric/material that you put on the floor and walk on.

e.g. The Smart English Classrooms all have carpet on the floor.

Walk barefoot- Walking without shoes on.

e.g. I like to walk barefoot on the grass, it feels very nice.

Recently, I want to change my job. In my current company, I don’t have any time to do what I want to. I am very busy every day and I can’t know where I will relax.
