Vocabulary

Holistic- Something that covers an entire thing not just parts of it.

e.g. Chinese medicine has a holistic view of the body and health.

Comprehensive- Something that is the entire thing, not just a part of it.

e.g. Our final exam will be comprehensive, meaning it will cover the material in both semesters.

Bootcamp- something that is very intensive, a really intense training.

e.g. I signed up for a programming bootcamp, the next three weeks will all be spent there, day and night.

Elon Musk- The boss of Tesla, the famous electric car company.

Discipline- Being able to focus on one thing, having the willpower to do what is needed.

e.g. If you are really disciplined you can achieve whatever you want.

Strategy/Strategist-  Also known as a plan. Something you do in advance to accomplish something difficult.

e.g. Zhuge Liang was China’s most famous strategist.

Diversity- Not being the same, diverse means a lot of different things.

e.g. My class is very diverse, there are people all around the world.
