Geisha (yiji) A woman in Japan who was a performer.

e.g. When I went to Japan, I saw many geisha walking on the street.

Concubine-  Kind of woman who is not the emperor’s wife but still lives in the palace and has sex with him.

e.g. The emperor had many concubines and his wives would often kill them because they were jealous.
