Vocabulary

Dubbed/Dubbing- Replacing the voice in a movie.

e.g. I usually don’t watch dubbed movies, I prefer to watch the originals

Scandal- Something that happens that usually embarrasses someone or gets them in trouble.

e.g. After people heard of the scandal about the president cheating on his wife, they chose to never vote for him again.

Japan Movement/Quartz Movement- The mechanical parts of a watch that goes tic-tic-tic, not the Swiss kind, but the cheaper kind.

e.g. I like to wear Quartz movement watches because I don’t need to worry about always adjusting the time.

Assemble- When you put something together, usually a product.

e.g. It’s very hard to assemble IKEA furniture because it’s so complicated.
