Vocabulary

verbatim – to copy or repeat what someone else has said exactly as they said it.
ex: He copied my notes verbatim.

acceptable – something that is allowed/OK.
ex: In the US, it is acceptable to start drinking alcohol at age 21.

Grammar

One of them is already at there. -> One of them is already there.

Verb tense –

Present tense, past, future tense

Subject verb agreement – with plural subjects use plural forms of the verb, same with singular subject and singular forms of verbs.

People is going to the store – People are going to the store

Preposition – at, to, near, close to, nearby, above, into, in, inside,

Would/could/should –

ex: Would you come over here? = Are you willing/Do you want to come over here?

ex: It would have been better if you had gone to the store. I wish I would have gone to the store. – Commonly used to show regret about things in the past, about things that did or didn’t happen.

ex: Could you come over here? = Can/are you able to come over here?

ex: It could have been a great time but we were late = It had the possibility/ability/capability to be a great time.

ex: Should I come over? = Do you want me to come over?

ex: It should have been a great time but we were late = We expected it to be a great time. He should be coming soon = We expect/want him to come soon.

Might – maybe; might or might not

ex: I might go to the store later. I might or might not go to the store later.
