Vocabulary

Sample- 样品. A small amount of something that shows you what is the rest of product like.
E.g – I was given dental floss sample at the mall earlier.

Adapter = 🔌 插头. A device that connects two equipement.
E.g – I lost my adapter last week.

Commission – 佣金
E.g – She gets 15% commission for every machine hat she sells.

Cushion –垫子

E.g -accidentally spilled coffee on my favorite cushion.

Scarf – 围巾. A cloth to wrap around the neck.
E.g – He had a woolen scarf around his neck.

Article – 文章. A piece of writing on a particular subject.
E.g – I read an interesting article written by 86 year old woman.

Textbook – 教科书. A book that contains information about a certain subject.
E.g – I left my textbook in the locket.

National Holidays – 国庆
E.g – For this year’s National Holidays, I will be traveling to Sweden.

Embassy – 使馆
E.g –  I need to go to the embassy to apply for my American visa.

Manatee – 海牛

E.g – Last year in San Francisco, was the first time I saw a manatee.
