Vocabulary

Compound – 小区.
E.g – I just moved into a new apartment compound last week.

Yen – 日元. Money that is used in Japan.
E.g – She earns around 40,000 Yen working as a teacher.

Canteen – 食堂. A place in a factory where you can have your meals.
E.g – The staff canteen is usually cheaper than eating outdoors.

Shuttle Bus – 🚌 班车.
E.g – I take the shuttle bus daily from Zhongshan Park.

Colleagues – 同事. People you work together with.
E.g – Two of my colleagues left last week.

Sausage – 香肠.
E.g – Yesterday I bought a pound of garlic sausage.

Switzerland – 🇨🇭 瑞士.
E.g – This summer I will be going to Switzerland with my girlfriend.
