Dear David,
Long time no see. It has been three years since we last met. How are you？
I have graduated from school but the sad thing was that I only got the academic certificate but missed the diploma certificate because I did not public academic paper in learned periodicals. Then, I worked, after day work, I would spent the time to write the paper, I tried and waited much time to accept by reviewer.
One year after I attended work, I gave up and looked for another job in a foreign company, which I think met my expectation. In that company, one project was assigned to me. This project has lasted for many years, during that time, changed several site staffs. You can imagine that many issues were found during daily work. I appeared to dislike the current work and became more and more less passionate.
Well, it is time to get off the work. Here we are today. I will write to you in the future.

Then I started working, after work and during the weekends,  I would spent my time writing the paper./are spent writing the paper. I tried very hard and waited a very long time accept by reviewer.
After a year of working, I decided to resign and looked for another opportunity in a foreign company, which I think meets my expectation more. In that company, one project was assigned to me.
