Writing exercise

Write a paragraph or be prepared to talk about your favorite Korean holiday and how you celebrate it in your next class.

The biggest holiday in Korea is Lunar New Year’s Day, Chuseok(August 15th in the lunar calendar) and New Year’s Day.
The meaning of the holiday is same as China, because ancient Korea was influenced by China cluture greatly so the ancient lifestyle and culture came down from China.
When I was kid, in above 3 holidays I wore a Hanbok(Korean tranditional clothes) and visited relatives places. And most complicated special dishes were by my such as Korean kebab, fried dishes, braised Sea Bream etc. These kind of foods are for the memorial ceremony for our ancestors first and then we can eat together with family.
So the women hate the Korean holiday, and now modern Korean people like to simplify everything. Therefore many traditional culture is getting to vanish.
In the holidays most Korean people are going to trip to abroad. I booked a airticket and hotel for 2018 New Year’s holiday already.

The biggest holidays in Korea are Lunar New Year’s Day, Chuseok which is August 15th in the lunar calendar, and New Year’s Day.
The meaning of the holidays are the same as China, because ancient Korea was influenced by Chinese culture greatly so the ancient lifestyle and culture came from China.
When I was a kid, in the 3 previously mentioned holidays I wore a Hanbok which is a traditional Korean garment/costume/suit/dress and visited relatives places. Also, the most complicated special dishes were made/cooked/prepared by my mom such as Korean kebab, fried dishes, braised Sea Bream (which is a fish) and so on.

First in the morning we put these kinds of foods on our dinner table for the memorial ceremony for our ancestors and then we can eat together.
So women hate these Korean holidays because they have to prepare many things for example they make a lot of food and take care of their kids.

Now modern Korean people like to simplify everything. Therefore many traditional cultures are vanishing.
During the holidays most Koreans travel abroad. I booked a plane ticket/airfare and a hotel for the 2018 New Year’s holiday already.
