VIP Class Notes (Celeste) [S]

Homework

Reread the storytelling exercise below a few times and retell it in your next class so it becomes more natural.

Speaking exercise

In your next class be prepared to tell the story about your car accident.

I will talk about the car crash in my experience. One day morning, it was heavy snowing when I was about to out for work. Normally, we cannot see the snow in Busan so I didn’t have snow chains in reserve and I wasn’t an experienced driver and I had been driving for 7 years so I didn’t care of that. I was onto the freeway and I was on the way down, I saw that one car was stopping on the middle of the road and driver came out and was standing beside of his car. It was so dangerous so I swerved my car handle and I stepped the brake suddenly. I almost hit that car and maybe the terrible things will be happened. I lost control my car and my car zigzagged likes dancing on the ice. I avoided car accident and I didn’t hit anything fortunately. I was out of my mind but I tried to calm down and I turned on the emergency light and stopped on the hard shoulder and called the police because I worried about that driver. We have to drive carefully anytime especially in the snowing day.

I will talk about my car crash experience. One morning, it was heavily snowing when I was about to go out/leave for work. Normally, it hardly snows in Busan so I didn’t have snow chains in storage. I had been driving for 7 years so I wasn’t an inexperienced driver and so I didn’t care about that. I drove onto the freeway and when I was on the way down, I saw that one car stopped in the middle of the road and the driver came out and was standing beside (of) his car. It was so dangerous so I swerved my steering wheel and I stepped on the brake suddenly. I almost hit that car, if I did, terrible things would have happened. I lost control of my car and my car zigzagged like dancing on ice, like iceskating. I avoided a/this/the/that car accident and I didn’t hit anything fortunately. I was scared out of my mind but I tried to calm down and I turned on the emergency light and pulled over onto the shoulder and called the police because I was worried about that driver. We have to drive carefully every time especially on snowy days.
