What did you do with your friends to celebrate the New Year?

On December 31, my friends came to my home for lunch and after lunch we went to the shopping mall and played the games on APP called Douing. When we were playing the APP another friends also came to meet us and we drank an afternoon tea together and took some photos to (ji nian). During that time we decided to watch a movie which can went through the whole day from December 31 to January 1. We choosed the movies started at half and 10 o’clock at night and finished at half and 12 o’clock. After the movie, we walked on the road and took photos to celebrate the new year. So, it was about 2 o’clock of January 1st, of 2018 when we were back home.

On December 31, my friend, Joyce, came to my home to cook lunch because I can’t cook and after lunch we went to Kunshan City Shopping Mall. We wanted to walk around and look for clothes or something to buy but we didn’t find anything so we played the games on APP called Douing. When we were playing the APP another friend, Wendy, also came to meet us and we drank an afternoon tea at a tea shop, I drank a cup of milk tea and Joyce and Wendy drank fruit tea together and took some photos to celebrate. During that time we decided to watch a movie, which can went through the whole day from December 31 to January 1. We choosed the movies started at half and 10 o’clock at night and finished at half and 12 o’clock. Because I read the book before I thought the movie was kept the same with the book. After the movie, we walked on the road and took photos to celebrate the new year. It was too late after the movie so when we went out of the shopping mall, there were no many people on the road, just a little few people walked through us when we were tooking the photos. So, it was about 2 o’clock of January 1st, of 2018 when we were back home.

The movie is based from/on a Japanese book and because I read the book before I thought the movie followed the book. After the movie, we walked on the road and took photos to celebrate the new year. It was very late after the movie so when we left/ exited / went out of the shopping mall, there were not many people on the road, just a few people passed by us when we were taking photos. So, it was about 2 o’clock on January 1st, 2018, when we got/arrived back home and kicked off our shoes.
