A lot of things happened to me in this year, it is mostly about my job. At the begining of 2020, COVID-19 broke out, the virus made many companies financially difficult,our company is no exception.

I work in an American company, at first our company will raise our salary, but company told us will put a freeze on raises in March. They always will freeze recruitment. As for me I Iost chance of promotion. Now I still have been hoping get a new position and still work hard to wait for another chace. My working atomphere is good and I’m not ready to change my job.

I work in an American company. At first, our company said they will raise/increase our salary, but in March, our company told us that they will put a freeze on/postpone salary/our raises. They will also postpone recruitment for now/for the time being. As for me, I lost the/my/a chance of/at promotion. Since then, I have been hoping to get a new position and I’m still working hard to get a promotion/for/waiting for another chance. I’m working so hard because my work atmosphere is good/I like my work atmosphere and I’m not ready to change my job.
