is it easier to understand the psychology of advertising in the digital era?

I think the answer is depends on the audience angle – For ad man, it would be harder.

Because in digital era, consumer routes are easily to track, and it will show variety of routes of course. ad man need to analysis all kinds of routes and find the back psychology.

But in the traditional era, the routes would be more direct – yes or not.

So in this perspective, I think the psychology of advertising in digital era would be harder.

Edited:

is it easier to understand the psychology of advertising in the digital era?

I think the answer depends(v) on the audience’s perspective/For the general audience, the answer is indefinite – For the ad man, it would be harder.

Because in the digital era, consumer routes are easy to track/are tracked easily, and data analysis will show the variety of routes. And of course. the ad man needs to analyze(v) all kinds of routes and find the backbone/supporting psychology/the psychological mindset behind consumer routes/behavior.

But in the traditional era, the consumer routes were more direct – bilateral decision-making.

So from this perspective, I think understanding the psychology of advertising in digital era would be harder.
