Writing exercise

I went to Los Angeles with my ex for a travel a few years ago. Because of not scheduling the trip in the last three days, we had not book a hotel. Than we made sure of our trip on that day ,we book a motel without thinking more.
We arrived the motel at 9 that evening and found that the check in place is the iron windows. After checking in, we went to the convenience store nearby to buy water and we also found many iron windows. It made us feel strange and uneasy (look up). So we checked the street on line after going back to the motel and than we surprised to find that the street called “death lane”.it has at least 17 shootings a year.
I was scared and I heard the sound of police cars and helicopters(look up) from time to time. I kept nerves all night.
