I’m a copywriter.
I work as a copywriter in a small internet company. I write articles on our WeChat official accounts.

I have been working as copywriter for five years, but I’m still new to this company. I like my job, because it’s challenging; I write/I need to write/finish almost two to three articles in one day.

I feel like it’s difficult to write those articles/under time pressure, but sometimes it’s interesting to do it./it’s also interesting.

If I have enough time, I can search the internet to find out how is the article I’m writing./readers think about my article.
If I have enough time/in my spare time, I sometimes search my own article on the internet to find out/see the feedback.

I live with my boyfriend now. We have an one-room house. It’s not big but it’s clean. We have a bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen. But we don’t really cook a lot, because we don’t have much time. It’s near to the subway station so I can sleep more every morning.
I live with my boyfriend now. We have an one-room apartment. It’s not big but it’s clean. We have a bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen that we rarely use. We don’t really cook a lot, because we don’t have much time, so we usually eat out/order take-out. It’s near the subway station so I can sleep more/get more sleep every morning.

The first thing I should think is the price of the house. If it’s too expensive, I don’t think it’s necessary because we can live a good life if we ….
The first thing I would consider/think about is the price of the rent. If it’s too expensive, I don’t think it’s necessary because we can live a better life if we spend a little less on rent./save on rent./cut down our rent. We would rather use the extra money to go to nice restaurants or travel.

Writing exercise

I found that a normal, unintentional decision might change one’s life. Looking back at my life, I think there was one thing deserved to be called my life-changing event.

I have come to Shanghai when I just graduated. It wasn’t because how much I love there then, in fact the only information I knew about SH was: it’s a big city. However, I still came.

Actually it was due to the fact that I didn’t get my favorite offer of internship and I didn’t want to choose a low pay job. Coincidentally, there was a company from SH gave me what I wanted. So here I am.I always think that it could be a totally different life if I didn’t come to SH, worse or better. But we can barely have more than one choice at the same time, therefore, what we need to do is to accept and enjoy our decisions.

Edited:

I find that/IMO a normal, unintentional decision might change one’s life/our lives/might have the ability to change our lives/is capable of … Looking back on my life, I think there is one thing which/that deserves to be called my life-changing event.

I came to Shanghai when I just graduated./I have been in SH since I graduated. Back then, I didn’t come here because of how much I love it here/I love SH, in fact, the only information I knew about SH was: it’s a big city./all I knew about SH back then/at that time was:… However, I still came without looking back/I made my decision to come.

To be honest, I actually came here because I didn’t get my favorite offer of internship/ internship offer and I didn’t want to choose a low-paying job/job with a very low pay. Coincidentally, there was a company from SH that gave/offered me what I wanted./a SH company gave me a favorable/satisfactory offer./an offer I could live with(can accept). So here I am.

I always think that I could have a totally different life/it would be totally different if I didn’t come to SH, for better or worse. But we rarely have more than one option at one time. Therefore, what we need to do is to accept our decisions and enjoy whatever comes after.
