1. verb-noun -> becomes the concept of the verb

*every time you can’t have another verb, use +ing.
2. to be doing -> present cont tense
ie. I am teaching English to Annie.

When there is no obvious subject, use “there” or “it”
ie. I didn’t want to come to work today because of heavy rain./the heavy rain./because it is raining(v)./it’s rainy(adj).
