overuse: lan yong
ie. Don’t overuse the article “the” – only use it for specific nouns or nouns we already know.

fine dining: michelin, expensive food
ie. I enjoy fine dining, but I’m poor so I’ve been eating ready meals from quanjia.

forbid(v): Jin zhi/ zu zhi
ie. If you don’t wear a mask, the security forbids you from entering the building.
ie. If you don’t wear a mask, you will be/are forbidden from entering the building.

expect: qi wang
ie. The bus is expected to come in 5 minutes. I expect the bus to come in 5 minutes.

neutral: zhong li de
ie. “Expect” is a neutral word.

Actually it(my english improvement)’s not very good.

Just work at home office. And stay at home. I went out to the restaurant for three times. Once for month.
I just worked/I had been working from home..staying and stayed at home. I went out to restaurants/went out for meals three times. Once per month.

During these last three months/during this last three-month period, I feel both happy and sad at the same time. I’m happy because I didn’t need to go to the office to work and sad because the world is too dangerous and I couldn’t travel abroad. Before I had a plan/plans/planned to go to Japan in March and I had already bought the plane tickets. But near/close to the date of/right before/just before my trip, Japan forbade Chinese travelers to enter the country/banned entry of all Chinese travelers. And I look forward trip in May./ I expect to go in May.
