Today we told stories based on 4 pictures.

Vocabulary

T-shirt: 短袖
ie. When it’s hot, Joe wears T-shirts.
ie. Joe doesn’t like to wear T-shirts everyday.

shirt/sweatshirt: 长袖/卫衣
ie. I will wear sweatshirts when it’s cool.

sweater: 毛衣
ie. Joe doesn’t have a lot of sweaters.

skirt: 半身裙子
ie. Joe doesn’t wear skirts because he is a boy.
ie. Joe’s mom sometimes wears skirts, but usually she wears pants.

boots:靴子
ie. When it’s raining, we wear boots.

stripes:条纹
ie. Tigers have stripes. So do zebras.

socks:袜子
ie. Joe usually wears socks.
ie. Sometimes when its’ raining, Joe’s socks get wet and he doesn’t like to wear them.
ie. Ally never wears socks

ie. Ally loves Joe’s orange vest because it looks very good.
ie. Ally is not wearing a vest today.
ie. Ally doesn’t have any vests.

even though: 即使
ie. Even though Joe is only 7 years old, his English is very good.
ie. Even though it’s raining, Ally didn’t bring an umbrella.
ie. Even though Ally is old, Ally looks young.
ie. Even though it’s cold, Joe is wearing a t-shirt.
ie. Even though it’s hot, Ally is wearing ten pieces of clothing.

ie. Ally is playing with the iPhone.

What am I wearing?
ie. Ally is wearing a white sweater, a grey skirt, and black boots.
ie. Joe is wearing a blue shirt, a sweater with brown, white, grey, and black stripes, an orange and blue vest, brown pants, light blue socks, and blue shoes.

1. The boy is Danny. Danny have black hair. Danny have a blue T-shirt. The girl is Lily. Lily have blonde hair. Lily have a pink T-shirt. The boy look the cat on the roof. The girl see the dog, and then she say “can you catch the cat?” Danny say ”yes I can”.
2. Danny go on the roof to take the cat. He catch the white cat on the roof. Lily wants the cat. She say “give me the cat!” Danny take the cat on the roof.
3. This time they are happy. They are looking at the cat. The cat is playing the apple, but the cat run very fast. He go on the roof again.

2. The mom go to the house. John was playing the toy car this time too.

3. Now the girl go outside to steal a piece of cake to eat, but John doesn’t know this thing.

4. This time mom comes here, she was very angry because she thinks John steal one cake to eat. Vicky is eating the cake behind the tree. Mom doesn’t know this things.

3. Now the girl goes near the table to steal a piece of cake to eat/the girl steals/takes a piece of cake from the table, but John doesn’t know this.

4. This time, mom comes outside again, she was very angry because she thinks John has stolen a piece of cake to eat. Vicky is eating the cake behind the tree. Mom doesn’t know this. John feels sad because his mom doesn’t know the truth.

Sometimes raining I use the boots. But today I doesn’t use the boots.
Sometimes when it’s raining, I wear (rain)boots. But today, even though it’s raining, I didn’t wear boots.
