Fast fashion is familiar to us, as we all know, Zara, H&M, GAP etc. can be found everywhere. Fast fashion is defined as “quick turnarounds†and “lower priceâ€. Globalization/Globalisation make it possible that attire/clothes are made in countries where labor is cheap. Fast fashion cause consumers consider their grab/clothes are disposable and replaceable with something on-trend, which bring 2 serious problems.
First is environment cost, manufacturing any kind of textile (纺织物) cost resource, for example, synthetic fibres cause more carbon footprint than nature fibres, however nature fibres cost more nature resource which perhaps influence future environment. Second is fast fashion push company and manufacture speed up, which lead high pressure and high workload to workers. Most of the manufacture located in developing countries where labor is cheaper, worker are paid salary/wages that inefficient for living. And they work in a poorly equipped condition. But most developing countries experienced this period, like China has a serious air pollution, now still influence people, the government can’t change this in a short time under keeping GDP grows.

So, one organization named Environmental Audit Committee proposed eighteen recommendations to UK government, for example, increasing tax on purchases, funding for recycling, introducing more sewing lessons in school to encourage young people make do and mend which I think this is useless.
