Introduction(noun)/introduce(verb): get to know each other

ie. I was introducing you. = 我刚才在介绍你

I was introducing myself. ＝ 我刚才在介绍我/自我介绍

elementary school: grade 1-6

ie. I’m in elementary school.

highschool: grade 7-12

California: 加州

ie. I have been to California.

Vancouver：温哥华

public: 公立／公众的 private: 隐私的／私立的

ie. I’m a public school student/ I’m a student in a public school.

ie. My phone is private.

international：国际

ie. Kris Wu is an international superstar.

passed：过去了/通过了

ie. I passed the test.

embarrassed: 害羞

ie. I‘m feeling very embarrassed for that.  (past-tense of feel = felt)

Korea(n): 韩国

ie. The girl is from Korea.

poetry: 诗

ie. We always learn poetry.

article：文章

ie. The article is very good.

basic idea：基础概念

at vs in – at is the place, in is the thing itself

ie. I’m at school = 我在学校里

I’m in school = I’m a student 我还在上学／我是个学生

I’m now at high school and I like maths and Chinese but then my English is not good. My mom told me to learn English here. I just sleep and listen to Chinese music. When I went to grade 6 or grade 5, many classmates like Korean groups. They most like FCC or Justin.
