What are the new trends in Shanghai among the younger generation? (narrow it down to a few things)

People more easily believe the brand tells them is there good. But  now the consumer behavior change a lot. They use mobile very usually and they look into wechat and social apps like douying, xiaohongshu. Instead of believe what the advertisement tells them, they like to get the information from the KOLs, the beautiful pictures they post on their website. The content becomes more important. It can interest people and trigger the purchase.

A sharp knife could be a very useful tool in the kitchen but sometimes it can be very dangerous. I remember I was hurted vey my fruit knife in one month. One time I’m just removing the peel of a pumpkin and another time I was cutting a sausage into pieces. The knife is very very sharp, the cut in my finger started to bleed and I really feel very painful. After I put a bandage on the cut and it became much better but it’s still take about one week for the cut to heal.

Can’t say “someone is painful“, “I am painful”
you should say: I’m in pain / I’m in a lot of pain

how to use “potential“?

1. as a noun: this business has a lot of potential = this business is promising (in the future, there is a chance that it will be a very successful business)
   eg. This guy is very smart, he has a lot of potential as a company director

2. as an adjective: People go on blind dates to meet potential partners. (there is a chance that they can meet their future partner)
eg. For the next Olympics, there are 4 potential hosting cities: Shanghai, Seoul, Los Angeles, Delhi
eg. There are four potential candidates for the job

Can also be an adverb: potentially.
eg. Shanghai is potentially the next hosting city for the 20xx Olympics.
