Today we focused on a basic makeup tutotrial

Vocabulary

combined: putting two things together into one

Canadian:  the adjective to describe things related to Canada, like people

kindred spirits:  two people who share a similar fate or history and are similar

makeup tutorial:  a lesson on putting on makeup

regimen:  an order of things are done.  Example: skincare regimen.

regiment:  A unit of officers in an army

regime:  a type of government, usually a dictatorship.  Example: Fran lives in the Communist regime of China.

contour: 外形修整

highlight: bring forward, put emphasis on.

smudge: 墨韵

filler：a type of acid that can be injected into your face or lips to create fullness

stain： 污点

trash can:  rubbish bin

moisturizer:  a cream or lotion that provides moisture to the skin

primer: what you put on before foundation to make sure it stays in place

rhinoplasty:  a nose job/plastic surgery for the nose.

neutral： colors that can go with everything, or not taking any sides.  Example:  Switzerland is known for being a very neutral country.  This lipstick color is neutral and will look great on any skin color.
