Speaking exercise

How much money do you spend on food every month?

Is it on going out, or cooking at home?

I think normally I spend 50-100 yuan per day, so 1500-200 per month is spending for the monthly food, but I think this is normally cooking at home, not outside. Because outside it could be 3000 per month, because if I go outside with my family I think 300 per set. So I think 300 per month is reasonable if we go outside to dinner.

I think normally I spend 50-100 yuan per day, so about 1500-200 per month on food, but I think this budget is for normally cooking at home, not going out. Because going out could be around 3000 per month, because if I eat out with my family I think it’d be 300 per set. So I think 3000 per month is about right if we go outside to dinner.
