“I like western food, but the western food will make me fat. For example, cheese is dangerous. So you need to be careful with eating foreign foods.

My ABSOLUTE favorite is chocolate cakes. I love everything about chocolate. I also strongly prefer dark chocolate.

What are some familiar American cultural norms?

1. We almost always hold the door open for old people/women/everybody when they enter the building.
2. “Thank you” and then “You’re welcome”
3. We usually allow the ladies to go first.
4. When we order food at a restaurant, we wait for everyone to receive their food before eating.
5. In some places/situations it depends on who will pay.

What are some familiar Shanghainese/Chinese customs?

1. Nowadays in Shanghai, we also can open the doors for children to be polite.
2. We usually allow the ladies to go first.
3. Men always pay for things. “teambuilding” … now it’s Kyle’s turn to pay for his friends. 
4. Parents also want to provide their best for their children. They want their children to have the best possible future.
5. Spring Festival .. all the members of the family… During the Spring Festival time, all the members of the family will come together from wherever they are.

i go to switzerland with my husband and i like the weather and the nature is very beautiful.

I wake up at about 8 o’clock in the morning and eat some bread, milk for my breakfast and then take my son to have his hockey practice. Just watch him play. I eat a bowl of chinese noodle for my lunch.
