My boyfriend and me plan some activities almost every weekend. On Sunday we decided to go to the Hengsha Island. We read this island should be the most natural place in Shanghai, where is the possibility to rent the bicycles and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Yantze river. This island is located northeasterly of Shanghai and to go there we had to take the subway, the bus, the taxi and after also the ferry. This journey took us almost 2 hours, but it was worth it. We did/took about 40 kilometers cycling around the island, and because we haven’t been cycling for a long time, still now I can feel pain on my ass. I would definitely suggest going there for one day trip and enjoying the fresh air and quietness of forests.
