I couldn’t put my book down. / It was a page turner.

Last Monday and Tuesday were public holidays so my husband didn’t work and I didn’t have classes. Almost all our friends went away so we spent this long weekend being at home resting and watching movies and going out for lunch in places that we had never been.
On Saturday we had lunch in an Spanish restaurant called Tomatito, that means Little Tomato, where the specialty are the traditionals Spanish tapas. The place is very lively and the food is very good even though the chef is Peruvian.
On Sunday,we went to take a brunch in a placed called Pop, located in The Bund. As the weather was sunny, we were seated outdoors so we could enjoy the view of the river and the high-rises of Pudong side. This place is beautiful and the food is very good but the service is awful. The staff was very slow and messy. Not only that, also that evening and the next day my son and I suffered from food poisoning.
On Tuesday, already recovered, we went to have lunch in a burger bar called Beef and Liberty where we had the best burger of our lives.
