Vocabulary

deputy / deputies n. – a person appointed or authorized to act as a substitute for another or others

corrupt adj. – guilty of dishonest practices, as bribery; lacking integrity; crooked

eg. The deputy mayor in this TV show is corrupt because he accepts bribes.

bribery n. – the act or practice of giving or accepting a bribe

bribe/s n. – money or any other valuable consideration given or promised with a view to corrupting the behavior of a person, especially in that person’s performance as an athlete, public official, etc.

eg. The children were given candy as a bribe to be good.

bribe / bribing / bribed / will bribe – to give or promise a bribe to

short / quick temper – to get angry easily, quickly

Last night, I have watched a TV show called In The Name Of People. It describes some good officers fight with corrupt officials. In this show, Some actors are so prefect to act different facial expresses. The range of projects is new, like before time, some director they can not make some political topics .

Last night, I have watched a TV show called In The Name Of People. It’s about the department of____ fighting against corrupt officials. In this show, some actors are prefect at acting/making different facial expressions in different situations.

In the past, the government did not want to show corrupt politics/politicians on TV. Now, the government allows it.
