Grammar

present perfect : Use when there is a link to the present
I have lost my keys. (I am in front of the door and I can’t open it)
I have worked for 1o years in this industry. (= I am very good at my job)

She has noticed the reminder.

past simple : use to talk about a situation that is over.
I lost my keys. (I have new keys now, I just want to tell you I lost them)
She noticed the reminder.

past perfect : use to talk about a situation happening even before in the past.
She had noticed the reminder before she left the office.

When talking in the past use a past simple first.
He studied in Beijing in 2010 (past simple). Then he studied in Shanghai in 2015 (past simple)
before that he had studied in Wuhan in 2005. (past perfect)
