e.g. What he is saying doesn’t make (any) sense! That is nonsense!

Grammar

I worked in Shanghai the last two years – I worked in Shanghai for the last two years
— don’t use “have” in this situation, because you don’t work in Shanghai now
— using “have” shows that you are still doing what you said you were doing before
|————————-|—————————————>
Past—————-something——————————-now
— the past tense means that you are finished

When you want to talk about many types of the same thing, you can list the adjectives, and then put the noun at the end, or use the noun every time.
e.g. I like green, red, and yellow apples.
e.g. I like Chinese food, Indian food, and American food.
Both are ok!

Two hours car – It is two hours away / it is two hours by car from New York

(Was the law firm work similar to the work you do now?) Maybe some similarities. Because when I worked in the law firm I did things just like private fund. So I found a similar job in my company (in the…) Insurance, trust, fund companies. Company like that. I studied in Beijing and worked in Beijing for three months and moved to Shanghai worked in a law firm, and then after two years I moved to Beijing again.

There are some similarities, because when I worked in the law firm my duties were similar to a private fund. So the job at my current company is very similar. (another option: So I found a job in the same industry/field.) Our clients were insurance (companies), trust (companies), and fund companies – companies like that. I studied in Beijing, and then worked in Beijing for three months afterwardThen I moved to Shanghai to work in a law firm, and then after two years I moved back to Beijing.
