Do a new speaking section. Work on using the right sentence structure.

Describe the children’s books that you will be printing.
— What are they about?
— Are they long or short?
— Do they have a lot of pictures?
— Who are the characters? (talk about the Dreamworks characters)

Write down some notes, but be ready to explain it next time. (Don’t just read what you wrote! Practice speaking!)

Vocabulary

Subject – 主语

Object – 宾语

Verb -动词

Go on a business trip – this is a set phrase

Children’s book – a book for kids to read, easy and probably with pictures

Yet – like “still” or  还, but can used at the end of a sentence.
e.g. They still don’t have any finished products = They don’t (yet) have any finished products (yet).

Return – to go to a place you were at before, go/come back (see grammar)

Grammar

Be careful to use all these parts in a sentence.

English sentence:
Subject + Verb + Object + Extra information (with whom, when, where, etc.)

Chinese
主语　＋　（跟谁，在哪儿，etc.)　＋　动词　＋　宾语

“To” is used to introduce a reason, or a purpose for doing something.
e.g. I went to the barber to get my hair cut.

Have is used to show something that began in the past, and is still happening, or true, now.
e.g. He has begun eating more vegetables (he began not long ago, and is still doing it)
e.g. They have lived in China for more than 20 years (they moved to China twenty years ago, and they are still here)

“Back” is not a verb to describe travel. It needs to have either “go” or “come” with it.
Instead, if you want one word, use “return” and then the place:
e.g. I will return to Guangzhou on Monday.
e.g. I will return home on Friday.

Today is Sunday. My weekend is at home. I take my business trip to Wenzhou. Check the start of the printing books. We have a book project. Not reading book. Actually, it’s a toys book, for kids. They just beginning, they not have finished. Printing the books. Just started to printing, not finished products now. This evening, maybe Monday will back to Guangzhou.

Today is Sunday. I spend my weekends is at home. I went on a business trip to Wenzhou to check on*** the start of the book printing books. We have a book project. They are not reading books.
